Data Definitions
Fiscal Year:  July 1 through June 30th of a given year (e.g. Fiscal Year 2020 is July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020).
Net Undergraduate Tuition & Fees:  Total tuition and fees received from undergraduate students less institutional aid (discount).
Net Graduate Tuition & Fees – Total tuition and fees received from graduate students less institut:  Gross Undergraduate Tuition & Fees – Total tuition and fees charged to undergraduate students before any institutional aid is applied.
Gross Graduate Tuition & Fees:  Total tuition and fees charged to graduate students before any institutional aid is applied.
First-Year Discount Rate:  The percentage of gross tuition and fee revenue covered by institutional financial aid for first-year undergraduate students only.
Blended Undergraduate Discount Rate:  The percentage of gross tuition and fee revenue covered by institutional aid for all undergraduate students.
Graduate Discount Rate:  The percentage of gross tuition and fee revenue covered by institutional aid for all graduate students.

Excelsior:  New York State implemented the Excelsior Scholarship program in Fall 2017 which provides free tuition to NYS residents attending SUNY/CUNY institutions.
